Introducing the WestNet THQP-S (Series 1). The world's first headless diagnostic breaker with internal thermal meltdown protection, OLED readout, and military-grade encryption. No cloud/app required. Open Source.
Standard breakers protect wires. We protect the entire connection.
0.91" high-contrast PMOLED display built into the face. See Amps, Volts, and Trip Codes instantly.
Internal NTC thermistors monitor lug temperature. If a loose screw causes a glowing connection (>90°C), we trip before it burns.
HomePlug Green PHY over existing copper. Rock-solid local communication (optional ESP32 Wi-Fi module for commissioning + LAN dashboards).
Local HTTP server or SSH to the Gateway. Ownership-first design with local integrations.
Industrial-grade integration. Poll status, voltage, and amps via standard protocols.
1/2" wafer form factor. Designed to upgrade millions of existing GE Q-Line panels without a panel swap.
Local encryption for all packets. Your power data stays local and secure.
Safely re-energize circuits remotely (Pro models). Includes auto-verify diagnostics before closing.
High-precision metering embedded on the breaker. Track energy usage down to the watt.
Powerline (HomePlug Green PHY) is the default transport for rock-solid local communications. When you need wireless commissioning, a laptop/phone dashboard, or a LAN bridge in a difficult install, you can add the ESP32 module to the Sentinel™ Outlet or directly inside the THQP-S Breaker. No cloud. No app lock-in.
*Repeater/bridge behavior depends on firmware profile and local RF conditions. All modes remain LAN-only unless you route otherwise.
Most smart breakers rely on the cloud. If the internet goes down, they become dumb. The WestNet THQP-S contains a Dual-Core 32-bit MCU on every single pole.
Trip decisions are made on-device in microseconds. Thermal analysis happens locally.
High-voltage and low-voltage logic are galvanically isolated (4kV rating) to protect the MCU from surges.
The "Silent Fire" Killer.
Standard breakers detect over-current. They cannot detect a glowing connection — where a loose wire creates intense heat without drawing excess amps.
ENGINEERING VALIDATION UNIT SHOWN
A residential single-gang receptacle (NEMA 5-15R) that communicates with the breaker via powerline.
